Agarwal High School for Boys was established in the year 1945 as a tiny sapling & sprouted up into a strong and vibrant tree. It was nurtured by loving hearts dedicated to the promotion of life & growth in the young. In the year 1948 it was inaugurated by Late Sri. C. Raja Gopala Chary the then Governor with a handful of tiny tots. From the time of foundation many eminent personalities and philanthropic scholars have played a key role in the upliftment of the institution. As a result it has reached to its peak under the guidance of Sri. L. N. Gupta; IAS, Sri. B. Kishan Lal, Mayor; Sri. Bhagat Ram Gupta and Sri. Sagar Lal Gupta. Right from its humble beginning when the school education was not so widely spread in the pre independence days the doors of this institution were open to all the children irrespective of their caste and creed. Thousands of students have passed through the portals of this prestigious institution and are shining in various fields. As free education was offered so many poor families have been immensely benefitted from  shamsheergunj to chandrangutta. For a couple of years the school was supervised by Sri. Keshavulu and in his leadership only it was upgraded into high school. During the years 1952 – 1953 Sri. Raghuraj Singh Ranjan the then principal of N.B Science College took care. Sri. Ambadas Rao’s tenure was another two years. Fond and inspiring memories of the past bring joy and enlighten the hearts of those who once shared the life of this dear institution. We join the song of praise to Sri. Vishwanath Prasad ji who worked hard as head master for over 25 years in steering the school extremely efficiently and leaving the foot prints on the sands of time of his selfless work.

 

The school became a part of Agarwal Siksha Samiti in the year 1954. The first batch of students matriculated in 1957. Shri. Shiv Raj Patil and Shri. Raja Babu Udgikar inspired the students to excel in the field of education and other activities Dr. Giridharlal ji and Dr. Ramesh Babu Sanghi from Agarwal Samaj who have studied in this institution through Hindi Medium are now settled in Australia. So many eminent personalities like Sri. Banarsilal Gupta, , Ramavatar ji, Mahavir Prasad Sanghi, Bajranglal Gupta, Murarilal Goel, Prahlad Rai Goel, Dr. Murlildhar Gupta etc. whole heartedly rendered dedicated and loyal service for the progress and development of the school. Though the institution has given innumerable Doctors, Engineers, CA’s, Business Tycoons, Industrialists, Lawyers, a few ex – students need to be highlighted in this Souvenir like Sri. Kanji Ram became the director of CGHS, Prof. Kashi Ram founder Vice Chancellor, Telangana University, Nizamabad, Dr. Bajranglal Agarwal former Principal of L.N Gupta College, Sri. Dilip Jagtap Participated in All India Cycling Stood II and finally secured a job in Anti Corruption Bureau, Sri.  Gyaneshwar designed the stent for Dr. Somaraju and Dr. APJ Kalam for a throw away price.

 

In the year 1996 the school celebrated its golden jubilee under the leadership of Late. Sri. Ramavatar Agarwal, Correspondent Sri. Ashok Chand Agarwal & Ex – Staff  Sri. Shiv Raj Patil the then speaker of 11th Lok Sabha being the Chief Guest. It’s almost 71 years our school has been rendering meritorious service in the field of education preparing responsible stalwarts for our country and abroad. 

 

Today the mission of the school is to provide quality education so that all our students are empowerment to lead productive fulfilling lives as lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

 

Our school is a renowned institution of old city with a fully furnished ventilated airy spacious building with all the amenities of a good school. Mid day meals & Supply of free text books for students are also a part of our programme. To inculcate patriotic fervour and spirit of service to the motherland in addition to imparting education we have NCC programme in our schools. Students bring laurels to the school participating in NCC Programme. Every Year we participate in district level science fair (INSPIRE) and in the year 2015 our student Master Shubham Shinde presented the model of  Recycling of Paper and was selected for state level amongst 680 models all over the district. He was assisted Smt. K. Pramila & Smt. N. Swarajya Laxmi Science teachers of our school.. Every year student of our school bag I Prize in drill competition in NCC. Students who seek education here come from all walks of life participate in all the extra curricular & co – curricular competitions conducted in school and also in inter school competitions with the spirit of enthusiasm. We celebrate all the special days and events every year.

 

School Building:-  Our school is located in the heart of the old city. It is a multistoried building. We have big, spacious, airy, well-ventilated 25 rooms. We have a well-equipped computer lab, science lab, indoor games room etc. we show much academic related topics on the projector for better understanding. We have big play ground, volleyball, football, shuttle grounds for the students.
